Where we stay, live and work
Randburg
"I live in Boskruin, Randburg," explains Hugo Ludik.
"It is a very quiet neighbourhood with beautiful scenery.
"We have four 'Woolies' (Woolworths stores), three McDonalds and three large shopping centres - all within a six kilometer radius.
"Since I arrived in Johannesburg in the year 2006, I have stayed in five places, all within this wonderful neighbourhood.
"As long as I live in Gauteng, I will definitely stay in this neighbourhood."
Krugersdorp
"Krugersdorp is my home," says Christiaan, another artist.
"I have moved here from the countryside in the year 1996.
"Krugersdorp is very diverse: We have large shopping centres where you can buy literally anything; you can treat yourself to a hot air balloon ride or spend a day driving around in a wildlife park.
"You can also be adventurous by visiting the Cradle of Humankind caves."
